Alicia Morena presents two students in a recital of Spanish Flamenco dance and guitar.
Dancer Sarah Vasey performs lineage and original choreographies by Pilar Lopez, Chino Amaya, Lupe del Rio, Teo Morca y La Chunga, and Licha Morena. Guitarist Eric Walberg accompanies her in this cultural art form of dynamic interface and precision.
Joining them in this afternoon concert are internationally acclaimed guitarist and local favorite Terrence Farrell, Natalia Tsyvinskaya - graduate of the Kiev Conservatory, and vocalist Ms. Ella Bekker, with music and songs inspired by Spanish culture.
This multicultural event is free to the public, sponsored by the Aditi Foundation, and hosted by Canterbury Woods.
