  • "Crossroads and Rainbows," a cultural dance and food program in February (date to be determined), sponsored by a grant from the Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation to Seaside Middle School.
  • Tablao performances in Monterey County (dates to be determined).
  • Spanish-Hellenic fundraiser with flamenco and Greek dancing, tapas, meza, and wine (date to be determined).

December 2-3, 2011: MPC Fall Studio Dance Concert 2011. Accompanied by live guitar, we are performing "Guajira, Guajiro." This is a guajiras flamenco dance piece expressing feminine beauty and the sultry sensuality of a tropical evening in Habana, Cuba.

November 12, 2011: Macy's Community Shopping Day at participating Macy's stores in California, Arizona, and Colorado. We are performing bulerías and guajiras flamenco at the Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey, California at 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

October 22, 2011: Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival. We are performing Guajiras, Sevillanas, and Tango Gitano flamenco dances and Canción de Jinete at 4:00 pm.

October 19 and 26, 2011: Life and Dance in a South Indian Village. You're invited to learn about life in a Nrityagram Dance Village and a Katak Gurukul through lecture and demonstrations. There will be savories to taste to enhance the journey.

May 28, 2011: The Sister Act: Paintings Past and Present, by Alicia di Palma & Paula Cathey-Kelley. Art exhibit.

May 5, 2011: Cinco de Mayo Celebration 2011. As well as Mexican dances, the program includes the Spanish flamenco dances of the Tango Gitano, Bulerías, Farruca, and Sevillanas. Free and open to the public.

April 29-30, 2011: MPC Spring Dance Concert 2011: A Celebration of Community. Accompanied by Eric Walberg on live guitar, Sarah Vasey is performing the Peteneras, and we are performing the Farruca.

April 2, 2011: Recuerdos y Cordova at A Taste of the Arts. Proceeds go to performing arts scholarships for local youth.

January 23, 2011: On the Crossroads of Roots. Musical program. Free to members of The Carmel Foundation and the general public.

November 13, 2010: Macy's Community Shopping Day at participating Macy's stores in California, Arizona, and Colorado. We are performing Coro Gitano and Coplas Sevillanas flamenco at the Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey, California at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm.

October 21, 2010: Viva La Cure at La Mirada, the Fourth Annual Oya Breast Cancer Awareness Event. Flamenco performances by Danzas Aditi and AIRE.

September 11, 2010: The Art and Science of Bonsai--Plus Flamenco Guitar. With Eric Walberg. Free and open to the public.

July 10, 2010: Spinal Health and Alignment for Dancers, Athletes, and All Sports Participants. Lecture by Dr. Troy Brunke. Free and open to the public.

June 4-5, 2010: MPC Spring Dance Concert 2010. Includes a cuadro flamenco piece performed by MPC's advanced flamenco class.

November 21, 2009: Technique Clinic: A Workshop in Baile Flamenco. All levels of dance experience welcome.

August 23, 2009: Spanish Flamenco at Canterbury Woods. Dance and guitar recital. Free admission.

June 9, 2009: The Aditi Foundation celebrates its Tenth Anniversary.
