Objectives

The Aditi Foundation, Inc.

(Organized under the laws of the State of California as a public benefit corporation on June 9, 1999. Fully incorporated with the Internal Revenue Service exemption status on February 11, 2000.)

The Aditi Foundation's long-term goal is to locate a site in Monterey County to house dance and inter-arts education and performance, with indoor and outdoor venues, studios, galleries, boutiques and cafes.

The Multicultural InterArts Cooperative of Monterey County (MIACOMCO) will work for the collaboration and unity of Monterey's diversity through the arts.

Aditi, Sanskrit for creative abundance, promotes the living arts for daily survival with style through education, youth scholarships, performance and touring, and multicultural programs of ethnic dance and inter-arts in Monterey County.

Aditi, a non-profit cultural and charitable organization, invites your interest, participation, and support through in-kind donations, financial contributions, and sponsorships.

These programs are supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Council for Monterey County through funding from the Monterey County Board of Supervisors, the Colton Hall Museum and Cultural Arts Commission of the City of Monterey, and the Packard Arts Initiative Fund of the Community Foundation for Monterey County.
